Joy Bridge Care, LLC · Georgia Licensed Private Home Care Provider
Why Arnolda started Joy Bridge Care
Arnolda Kapilima founded Joy Bridge Care after years of working in caregiving and healthcare — first as a hands-on caregiver, then in care coordination — where she repeatedly saw the same pattern: families in real need, and agencies that were either too large to respond personally or too informal to be dependable. She built Joy Bridge Care to close that gap.
Joy Bridge Care is built around the belief that the caregiver relationship — not just the task list — is what makes home care work. That means smaller caseloads, real caregiver continuity, and a matching process that considers personality and routine, not just availability.
The name “Joy Bridge” reflects that philosophy: the right caregiver becomes a bridge between where someone is and where they want to be — still in their own home, still connected to the people and routines that matter.
Joy Bridge Care is licensed by the Georgia Department of Community Health as a Private Home Care Provider. Every standard — GCHEXS background checks, 40 hours of pre-service training, competency verification before specialist assignments — exists because Arnolda built the agency she would trust with her own family.
“I started Joy Bridge Care because I believe every family deserves a caregiver who shows up prepared, stays consistent, and genuinely cares about the person they’re with. That’s the standard I hold us to — and it’s the standard every caregiver we hire meets before they ever step through a client’s door.”

Joy Bridge Care — from the ground up
Our credentials and service commitments
Georgia PHCP License
Joy Bridge Care, LLC is licensed as a Private Home Care Provider by the Georgia Department of Community Health, Healthcare Facility Regulation Division. We provide non-medical care only.
GCHEXS Background Checks
Every caregiver must clear Georgia's long-term-care background screening (GCHEXS) before being assigned to any client. This is required by state law and by our own policy.
W-2 Employees, Not Contractors
Our caregivers are W-2 employees covered by workers' compensation insurance. We do not use gig-marketplace contractors or 1099 arrangements.
TB Screening & Health Requirements
TB screening at hire and annually, plus the immunizations Georgia PHCP rules require before a caregiver starts working with clients.
40 Hours of Training
Personal care aide training: 20 hours before solo service, 20 more within six months, plus 8 hours of continuing education each year.
Competency Verification
For clients with incontinence care, dementia, or complex transfer needs, caregivers must demonstrate the relevant competency before assignment — not just complete the course.
A Georgia-licensed home care provider, built around relationships
Joy Bridge Care, LLC is a Georgia Private Home Care Provider regulated by the Georgia Department of Community Health, Healthcare Facility Regulation Division. We provide non-medical home care across Georgia to seniors, adults with disabilities, and families recovering from illness or surgery.
We believe care should feel personal, dependable, and genuinely compassionate, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. From the first phone call to the assignment of a primary and backup caregiver, our process is built around the family's actual routine and concerns.
What sets us apart
- Same-day family response. We aim to return every inquiry the same business day. Most calls are answered in person.
- Caregiver continuity. Every client is matched with a primary and backup caregiver from day one.
- W-2 employment, not gig contracting. Our caregivers are employees covered by workers' compensation, not 1099 marketplace contractors.
- Family visibility. Schedules, visit notes, and billing through the Aaniie care platform.
- Competency-checked before assignment. For transfers, incontinence care, and dementia cases, caregivers must complete and demonstrate the relevant competency checklist before they are assigned to that client.
